Referrals to The REAL Institute

We welcome referrals from schools, medical providers, community organizations, and other professionals who support children, teens, adults, and families. Our goal is to make referrals simple and responsive, even when you only have a small amount of information.

You do not need all the details to refer. If all you know is a name and phone number and that they’re looking for support, that’s enough—we’ll follow up with the client/family to gather more information.

How to Make a Referral

🌐 Online Referral Form (Preferred)

Submit a quick referral online
Use our short Professional Referral Form to share whatever information you have about the client or family.

This form takes about 1 minute. Share what information you know; we’ll do the rest.

📧 Email Referral

Email our Outreach Coordinator
If you prefer email, you can send a referral to outreach@therealinstitute.com.
Share as much as you comfortably can, such as:
A few words about what you’re hoping we can help with

  • Your name and organization
  • Client or parent/guardian name
  • Best phone number or email to reach them
  • Client’s age or approximate age
  • A brief note about what you’re hoping we can help with

📞 Phone or Text Referral

Call or Text our Outreach Coordinator
If you prefer, you can call or text our office at 279-245-3361 to get connected with our Outreach Coordinator, Julia Curcuro.

If we’re unavailable when you call, you may leave a voicemail, or you can send us a text, with:

  • Your name and organization
  • Your callback number
  • Client or parent/guardian name
  • Best phone number or email for the client / family
  • Client’s age or approximate age
  • A brief note about what you’re hoping we can help with

If you don’t have all of this, that’s okay—please send what you know, and our team will follow up with the client/family to gather more information.

Please do not include highly detailed or sensitive clinical information in voicemail or text. We will follow up by phone to gather additional details as needed and to discuss next steps.
